We are excited to welcome Jill Krause to teach the weekly yoga classes.

Jill (RYT-200) was first introduced to yoga by her physical therapist to help stretch her body after numerous surgeries that resulted from her diagnosis of breast cancer in 2010.   She began yoga strictly as a physical practice and was only hoping that it would help her aching body.   Jill became inspired by yoga's transformative power and found that the more frequently she attended classes and the deeper she delved into her practice and into herself, the more spiritual it became.  In 2016, she completed her 200 HR Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga Love in Highland, Maryland.   Her classes focus primarily on a Vinyasa-based approach (linking breath with movement).  She loves teaching middle and high school athletic teams to help them find balance mentally, physically, and spiritually.  She hopes to provide them with a practice that they can embody in their daily lives off the mat, in school and in their chosen sport.  She strives to bring a sense of fun, freedom, kindness, and most importantly empowerment to her students so they can live their most authentic lives.  Jill believes in the power of positivity and hopes to share this with everyone.  She also believes in the healing and meditative powers of music and incorporates that into her classes.   Students can expect to explore their strength, build connections of mind and breath, and travel on a journey of self-discovery.
