Attendance/Make Up Policy:
Dance requires discipline and consistency. Students are expected to attend class every week. When a student misses a class, it not only hinders his/her performance, it hinders the overall progress and cohesiveness of the group. Make-up classes are available for absences due to illness or other personal reasons, however missed classes must be made up within one month and in a class of the same dance discipline, (of an equal or lower level).
For elementary classes:
Elem. I classes please make up in Elem. I class
Elem. II classes please make up in Elem. II class
Elem. III classes please make up in Elem. III class
It is required to register for make-up classes at the front desk.
Refunds are not given for missed classes.
Please check the website for complete list of 2017-2018 policies
Drop In Fee: $14 per hour/6 Hour Class Card: $68
Tap - 9:45-10:45am

Dress Code is Mandatory by October 2:
Just a reminder that adherence to the dress code is mandatory for all students. We recognize that not everyone has had an opportunity to purchase the appropriate dancewear and shoes (plus we know that some items are back ordered through the store), however by October 2nd, all students will be expected to adhere to the dress code as listed on our website.
Items that are not carried in our store can be purchased at www.discountdance.com. Use the discount code 38599 & receive 10 % off your first purchase.
Dance shorts are form fitting and made from spandex, athletic shorts are not appropriate for dance.
Please arrive at least 20 minutes early if you need to purchase dance attire before class.
Food policy at Studio Dans - the studio is nut free. Many of our students have life threatening allergies to nut products, so adherence to this is mandatory for all. Additionally, food products are only allowed to be consumed in the lobby area, not the hallways or dressing room.
Please supervise your children while they are waiting for their classes. For safety reasons, dancers cannot run up and down the hallways. Additionally, please do not use the hallway connected to the bathrooms as a sitting area. We appreciate your assistance with this.
Whereas we welcome parents standing & observing their children through the studio observation windows, we kindly ask that you don't sit in a position in the hallway that prevents people from being able to walk down the hallway.
If you need to speak to a teacher, please contact Sam or Dana first via email (email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org). Thank you for not conversing with a teacher while she/he is walking through the hallway from studio to studio.
Would you consider donating a pack of hair ties to the front desk? We hand out a large number of hair ties each week and would appreciate either making sure that you daughter has her own supply in her dance bag or donating a packet. Thank you!
