TUITION

Tuition is paid monthly based on 9.5 months of classes (September-June) in 10 equal installments. Tuition is based on the total number of hours of instruction per week per student. Please check your family portal announcements for a complete tuition breakdown. Please note that there is a $15 administration fee for transferring/dropping a class. Tuition and registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

The first and last month of tuition along with the registration fee is due at time of registration. Studio Dans requires a current credit card to be kept on file. Accepted forms of payment include cash, check, Visa, and Mastercard. Please allow 48 hours after enrollment for tuition & registration fees to be posted to your account. A statement will be sent to the email address on file. You may make your payment through your family portal at that time, or your balance will be charged to your card on file 7 days after the statement date. All subsequent tuition payments are due on the 1st of the month. If payment is not received by the 7th, the credit card on file will be charged. A $35 fee will be applied to your account for all returned checks and declined credit cards, and any class discounts will be removed from your account. If payment is not received by the end of the month, your child will be withdrawn from class until the account is paid in full. A 5% discount is available if you wish to pay for the whole year in advance.

MINIMUM ENROLLMENT

Classes will be filled on a first come, first served basis. The minimum enrollment is six (6) students per class. If the minimum enrollment is not met, families will be contacted via email and the class may be combined with a similar class or cancelled.

CLASS ETIQUETTE & PROCEDURES

All students are expected to be on time and dressed appropriately (see dress code). Students who do not adhere to the dress code will not be permitted to attend class. Dancers are expected to enter the studio respectfully and quietly and be physically and mentally prepared to dance. No food, drink, or gum except water is allowed in the studios or dressing room. All students and parents are expected to treat fellow students and instructors with respect and not openly critique another dancer. Gross misconduct will not be tolerated.

What to bring

Dancers should be in dance attire according to the class dress code and bring only necessary dance shoes in your bag. DO NOT wear dance shoes outside. The dressing room will be closed, so please come dressed and ready for class. Please also bring a labeled water bottle.

Drop off & Pick up

Please arrive at the studio no more than 15 minutes before class. Dancers may enter through the front door of the building. Pick up after class will take place promptly at the front lobby as well. Please enter the studio to pick up your dancer - dancers will not be permitted to leave the studio without an adult.

ATTENDANCE/MAKE-UP POLICY

Dance requires discipline and consistency. Students are expected to attend class every week. Students needing to miss class need to call or email the studio to inform the instructor. When a student misses a class, it not only hinders their performance, it hinders the overall progress and cohesiveness of the group. Make-up classes are available for absences due to illness or other personal reasons, however, missed classes must be made up within one month and in a class of the same dance discipline, of equal or lower level. Registration for a makeup class is required through the Front Desk at least 24 hours before the class is scheduled.

CLASS WITHDRAWAL

Dancers are permitted to withdraw from classes with one month's notice until December 1, 2022. Please complete the drop/transfer request form on the Studio Dans website. After December 1, 2022, if a student withdraws from a class, the parent/guardian will remain responsible for the full annual tuition which will be due at time of withdrawal. Registration and tuition fees are non-refundable.

RECITAL

Dress Rehearsals are scheduled for June 11, June 13 & June 14, 2023. Recital Performances are scheduled for June 15-17, 2023. A Non-refundable costume fee is due by November 14, 2022. Costumes will not be ordered unless the fee is paid in full. Costumes are ordered over the winter break. Any costumes that need to be ordered after this time frame will have an additional charge for expedited shipping and handling. A non-refundable recital fee is due by March 1, 2023. Dates subject to change.
